YOUTH WEEK<br />
During NT Youth Week, a group of young<br />
people from the RAAF Tindal Community<br />
were able to participate in some fun activities<br />
thanks to <strong>The</strong> <strong>Top</strong> <strong>Ender</strong> and Network Tindal,<br />
and proudly supported by the NT<br />
Government Youth Week Grants Initiative.<br />
Our group of young people embraced the<br />
opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous weather on a<br />
guided two-hour boat tour of the Katherine Gorge<br />
with Nitmiluk Tours. After some rain had fallen in the<br />
days prior, we could see waterfalls flowing and the<br />
river a little higher than usual for that time of year.<br />
We learnt about the formation of the unique zig-zag<br />
gorge system, the wildlife that inhabits the area and<br />
the changes it experiences through the seasons - it<br />
was a great morning!<br />
Another group of youth joined in the fun to see<br />
Super Mario Bros during NT Youth Week. With some<br />
buttery popcorn and a drink in hand, we enjoyed the<br />
time out at Katherine Cinema 3.<br />
