Chairman Action on <strong>Pain</strong>, UK<br />
After being critically injured whilst trying to prevent<br />
a robbery Ian has lived with chronic pain<br />
for over twenty years. As a result <strong>of</strong> his own<br />
experiences he formed Action on <strong>Pain</strong> in 1998<br />
which has now developed into a charity reaching<br />
out to people across the world. He also<br />
serves on the Fitness to Practice Committees<br />
at the General Medical Council as well as being<br />
involved in many health related projects over<br />
the past fifteen years. He is married to a Chartered<br />
Physiotherapist who has an MSc in <strong>Pain</strong><br />
Management.
