In April, we had our first Fastener Training Week for
2023 in Cleveland, OH. It was full of eager students and
the energy was incredible. Now, we are getting set for our
next five-day intensive fastener training week in Chicago,
IL, and we hope you can join us!
While in Cleveland, our students accomplished a ton.
They learned all about torque tension, inspecting fastener
dimensional features, thread technology and gage issues
during hands-on exercises, attended three plant tours,
enjoyed a networking evening, and made some lasting
friendships along the way. In the end, they tested for
FTI’s acclaimed Certified Fastener Specialist (CFS)
designation.
FASTENER TRAINING WEEK IS COMING
TO CHICAGO!
FTI’s Fastener Training Week is an incredible
investment for fastener professionals and our upcoming
training in Chicago is a perfect central location. The
training is at the Lincolnshire Marriott and hosted by the
Mid-West Fastener Association.
For our Chicago class, Laurence Claus, IFI Director
of Education and Training and Carmen Vertullo, Fastener
Consultant and Trainer, Carver Labs, will be leading the
week with their long-standing expertise.
In preparation for a successful experience at Fastener
Training Week, we recommend students have one year of
experience or complete our Fastener Basics or Product
Training Classes first. Students may access these classes
virtually through FTI’s Online Learning Library with a twoweek
rental or annual subscription.
