Presented by Oikos Venezia with the Querini
Stampalia Foundation, and set out within the latter’s
rooms designed by architect Carlo Scarpa,
this exhibition presents the ten winning projects
of the first edition of an international competition,
designed to offer an unprecedented reflection
on "entry space", construed along its multiple
links, meanings and functions.

Inserita nel percorso del maggiore museo civico
veneziano, questa mostra presenta a ridosso dei
cento anni dalla nascita una delle figure più significative
dell’arte del ‘900, unica donna a rappresentare
nel 1947 il gruppo astratto “Forma”.
Il progetto veneziano si presenta sotto forma di
installazione con una ristretta selezione di lavori
posti in dialogo con gli ambienti storici del museo.

Dieci opere pittoriche inedite su tela per dieci
architetture simbolo che si affacciano sul Canal
Grande: una sorta di installazione per gli spazi al
piano terra della fascinosa casa-museo di Mariano
Fortuny che l’artista veneziano ha realizzato
seguendo una ricerca sulle metodologie storiche
tradizionali.

• TRAMALOGIE. Donazione Anna Moro – Lin
Anna Moro Lin è annoverata tra i protagonisti
della Fiber Art, l’Arte Tessile sviluppatasi a partire
dal ventesimo secolo grazie all’artista francese
Jean Lurçat, pioniere di questa manifattura
che si rifà all’arazzeria.
La mostra presenta un nucleo di 20 opere, donazione
dell’artista di recente scomparsa, al Museo
di Palazzo Mocenigo, oggi sede del Centro
Studi di Storia del Tessuto, del Costume e del
Profumo. Curata da Chiara Squarcina, l'esposizione
resterà visibile fino al 20 agosto 2023.

• THUS WAVES COME IN PAIRS
Simone Fattal and Petrit Halilaj & Álvaro Urbano
The series of exhibitions curated by TBA21–Academy,
dedicated to the relationship between man
and the sea, continues in the venues of Ocean
Space, located at the former church of San
Lorenzo, in Castello.
Inspired by the "Sea and Fog" poem by Etel Adnan,
this new project curated by Barbara Casavecchia
sees the encounter between the monumental ceramic
and glass sculptures of this American-Lebanese
artist and the new installation co-commissioned
by TBA21–Academy and Audemars Piguet
Contemporary, until 5 November.

• THE COOLING SOLUTION
Promoted by Venice Ca’ Foscari University and
the CMCC Foundation, this project between art
and science shows how people with different
cultural and socio-economic backgrounds adapt
to high temperature and humidity conditions, in
temperate and tropical countries, through Gaia
Squarci’s auteur photography.
The exhibition is visible at the Cultural Flow
Zone at the Zattere, and the Great Courtyard at
Ca’ Foscari until 31 July 2023.

• CARLA ACCARDI. The Seventies: Sheets.
The exhibition, within the circuit of the major
Venetian city museum, presents one of the most
significant figures in the 1900s art, nearing her
birth centenary, the only woman to represent the
“Forma” abstract group in 1947.
This Venetian project is in the guise of an installation,
with a small selection of artworks dialoguing
with the historical ambience of the museum.
