• FESTA DE SAN PIERO IN VOLTA
da venerdì 30 giugno al 2 luglio.
Tipica festa paesana in uno dei più suggestivi borghi
dell’estuario, posto tra mare e laguna nell’isola
di Pellestrina. Programma di intrattenimento serale
con musica, spettacoli e stand gastronomici con
servizio ai tavoli.
• FESTA DI SAN PIETRO DI CASTELLO
Da giovedì 29 a domenica 2 luglio.
Tradizionale festa popolare in una delle zone
più caratteristiche della città. Nella piccola isola
di San Pietro, all’estremità nord-est della città
collegata da due ponti al sestiere di Castello, un
nutrito programma dal pomeriggio, intratterrà
ospiti e veneziani. La festa è completata dai tradizionali
stand gastronomici.

• FESTA DEL REDENTORE
Bacino San Marco e Giudecca, 15-16 luglio.
Tradizionale festa in omaggio al Redentore e ad un
antico voto sulla peste (vedi pag. 9), in programma:
• Apertura del ponte votivo che collega le Zattere
con la Chiesa del Redentore sull'isola della Giudecca
- dalle ore 20.00 di venerdì 14 luglio fino alle ore
24.00 di domenica 16 luglio.
• Spettacolo pirotecnico in Bacino di San Marco sabato
15 luglio, dalle ore 23.30.
• Regate del Redentore in Canale della Giudecca,
Domenica 16 luglio, dalle ore 16
• Santa Messa Votiva presso la Chiesa del Redentore
all’isola della Giudecca, domenica 16 luglio ore 19

• FÊTE OF ST. PETER OF CASTELLO
From Thursday 29 to Sunday 2 July.
Traditional popular fête in one of the most characteristic
districts in town, the island of St. Peter
of Castello. A packed programme from the afternoon,
on this small island at the north-eastern tip
of the city, linked by two bridges to the district
of Castello, will entertain guests and Venetians
alike with music and theatre shows, water games
and regattas.
The feast is rounded-off by its traditional food
stalls with typical local festive fare.

St. Mark’s Basin and Giudecca Island, 15 - 16 July.
Traditional fête in homage of the Redeemer and
an ancient vow on the plague: pilgrimage over a
boat-bridge, solemn Mass, water fête with fireworks
show, collateral events and regattas (see
page 9).
