At 21 years of age Olise is a frightening talent due to
the fact his best position has yet to be determined, still
he excels wherever he is asked to play. A competent set
piece taker he delivers with pace with his left foot. He is
an energetic box to box midfielder who can not only
play on the right side of midfield in a 3 or a 4, but also
on the right of an attacking midfield three in a 4-2-3-1
(he has also played on the right of a front 3 in a 4-3-3)
and so that versatility is what may appeal to Villa.
His slightly languid running, street football style
technique when the ball is at his feet is what sets him
apart from other midfielders. He can take his man on
and produce a shot or a pass into the box alongside his
creative output numbers make him an attractive
proposition.
The cost however would be high as his deal runs until
June 2026 and he seems happy at Palace so a £38m
valuation would be just a starting point.
