Communities The economic and social effects of C.Vale’s activities are significant. In 2022, the cooperative collected R$ 524 million in taxes for states and municipalities. In the case of poultry, ICMS is divided according to the percentage of chicken production in each municipality involved in the integration system. The cooperative also assists entities that provide social assistance because it understands that economic advances must go hand in hand with improving people’s living conditions, especially those with greater vulnerability. Young apprentice Teenagers old enough to enter the job market have the opportunity to gain professional experience at C.Vale. The Jovem Aprendiz Cooperativo program trains young people in administrative areas and prepares them to face their first professional challenges. In order to have access to the program, they need a good school performance. The cooperative also offers extracurricular and paid internship opportunities for students of technical and academic courses in various areas.
