3R’s<br />
To avoid waste and control waste generation, C.Vale uses the 3R’s program (Reduce, Reuse<br />
and Recycle). A recycling center in the chicken slaughterhouse allows the separation of<br />
plastic and cardboard of the entire agro-industrial complex. With these precautions, less<br />
than 1.4% of discarded raw materials are sent to landfills or specialized treatment. The<br />
cooperative also maintains a program for the collection and proper disposal of animal<br />
health product residues. The initiative involves chicken, fish and swine producers.<br />
