Honey House at Moab, Utah, USA

This country house was built from earthfilled

rammed tubes or sacks. The thickness

of the walls is 50 cm, and the diameter of

the interior space is 3 m. Forty tons of earth

were used in all.

The exterior surfaces are covered with

straw-loam plastering, and the edges of

the openings and the pedestal with loam

plastering. Inner surfaces were plastered

with loam.
