High-throughput AOI & AXI at Productronica

Test Research, Inc. (TRI) will unveil its
Ultra-High-Speed 3D AOI, TR7700QH SII at
Productronica 2023. Capable of inspecting
at speeds of up to 80 cm²/sec, the system
offers smart programming, AI algorithms,
and metrology measurement capabilities.
Also on display will be the newly-released
high-throughput 3D AXI, TR7600 SV,
which, the company says, offers up to
20 % performance improvement compared
to the TR7600 series. Powered by AI algorithms,
the high-speed 3D AXI can accu-
rately detect void defects. The test solutions
provider will also showcase its
high-speed multi-angle 3D AOI, TR7500QE
Plus, equipped with four 20MP side cameras
and 1 high-resolution camera, as well
as its 3D SPI TR7007DI Plus, the 3D AXI
TR7600F3D SII, and the multi-core ICT
with in-system LED Analysis function
TR5001Q SII Inline. AI solutions include AI
training tool, AI station, verify host, AI
smart programming, and more. The test
and inspection solutions comply with Industry
4.0 standards like the IPC-
TR7700QH SII is capable of inspecting
at speeds of up to 80cm²/sec

the Mek VeriSpector Inline, an inline THT
AOI system designed for inspecting THT
components before they enter wave or
selective soldering machines to enhance
inspection efficiency and accuracy in

oped in collaboration with Nutek, the system
offers robustness and compatibility.
Its inline configuration optimizes investment
costs by minimizing the need for
separate inspections at each manual assembly
station. Manufacturers can fully
automate the inspection process with a
VeriSpector Inline for inspecting THT components
before they enter soldering machines
wide range of available options.
Powered by the 22X Software, an inspection
system used in the PCB assembly industry,
the system is easy to program while
maintaining the power and speed of the
inspection algorithms. It offers flexible inspection
including presence detection,
orientation, shape, offset, polarity, text
verification, fiducial reading, color check,
1D and 2D barcode reading, assembly materials
fittings, damaged object detection,
and more. The standard 24MP camera and
high-definition lens captures fine details at
a clear resolution, while upgrades to 42MP
or 60MP cameras are also available based
on specific application requirements.
