Alchemical Voice - L2M - Issue 25
From a spiritual point of view, the Golden Ratio can be
viewed as an inherent ambition and desire within nature
to find balance and beauty.
Isomorphism
There is a concept within mathematics called
isomorphism. Look at these two numbers: 31513 and
96269. They have the same structure. The number of
digits is the same. The positions with equal digits within
each number are also the same. For those reasons, they
are isomorphic numbers.
Now, I put it to you as a proposition that all healing
modalities are isomorphic. Granted that I am not an
expert on all forms and methods for healing, whether
they be Reiki, Kinesiology, Acupuncture, Yoga,
Shamanism and many more. Yet, I do claim that all
approaches to healing have the same basic
fundamentals. They all share a desire to improve the life
situation of the client.
There is a basic moral principle. It may vary but as a
principle, disregarding its content, it is there as a
guideline. There is a relationship between the
practitioner and the client. This relationship is regulated
in some way by the moral and ethical guidelines and also
by the practicalities of the healing modality, how it is
performed and what methodology is used.
There is a similarity between the macro and the micro.
The smallest fractal of the human body reflects the
Cosmos. The fundamental aspects of life on planet Earth
also exist in other parts of the Cosmos and permeate it
with an innate wisdom that we can all tap into.
Conclusion
In the beginning of this article, I asked if there is
something to it. Is there magic in numbers? Is there
numbers in magic? My answer, as you might have
guessed, is yes.
As I see it, magic is best defined by your own
relationship to nature, to your ancestors, and to the
spiritual aspects of the great mystery. I suggest that you
use my article to get some ideas and inspiration to use
numbers and mathematics as one tool in your
exploration of it.
