Furniture, paper and forestry products sector realised<br />
exports of 653 million dollars in February<br />
Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM), announced the export figures for February <strong>2024</strong>. In<br />
February, exports increased by 13.6 percent compared to the same period last year and reached<br />
21 billion 86 million dollars, while it was recorded as the highest February export value in the<br />
history of the republic. The furniture, paper and forestry products sector, which exported 602<br />
million dollars last month, exported 653 million dollars in February. In the first two months of<br />
the year, the most exports were made to Iraq with 179 million dollars.<br />

Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisi (TİM), <strong>2024</strong> Şubat ayı ihracat rakamlarını açıkladı. Şubat ayında<br />
ihracat geçen yılın aynı dönemine göre yüzde 13,6 artarak 21 milyar 86 milyon dolar olurken,<br />
cumhuriyet tarihinin en yüksek şubat ayı ihracat değeri olarak kayıtlara geçti. Geçtiğimiz ay<br />
602 milyon dolar ihracat yapan mobilya, kâğıt ve orman ürünleri sektörü şubat ayında 653<br />
milyon dolar ihracat gerçekleştirdi. Yılın ilk iki ayında en çok ihracat 179 milyon dolar ile<br />
Irak’a yapıldı.<br />

February increased by 13.6 per cent to 21.1 billion dollars.<br />
Thus, the second export figure of the year was recorded<br />
as the highest February export value. The furniture, paper<br />
and forestry products sector, which put forward a successful<br />
export figure last year despite the recession in the global<br />
economy and the tensions between neighbouring countries,<br />
started <strong>2024</strong> positively and showed a steady increase in<br />
January and February.<br />

yıl global ekonomide yaşanan durgunluk ve komşu ülkeler<br />
arasındaki gerilimlere rağmen başarılı bir ihracat rakamı<br />
ortaya koyan mobilya, kağıt ve orman ürünleri sektörü <strong>2024</strong><br />
yılına pozitif başlayarak ocak ve şubat aylarında istikrarlı bir<br />
