CASSAVA MODIFIED STARCH FACTORIES<br />
In <strong>2023</strong>, producers delivered 126,340 tons of cassava roots to C.Vale. The volume processed by the starch<br />
factories in Terra Roxa and Assis Chateaubriand (PR) represents an increase of 12.85% compared to 2022. Of<br />
the total produced, 46,702 tons were starch, which is used by the paper, textile and food industries. In the<br />
last decade, starch factories processed 1,161,430 tons of cassava root.<br />
