32 C.VALE REPORT | 2023 NEW ENTERPRISES AND CELEBRATIONS Inauguration of C.Vale's soy crusher Sixty years after its creation, C.Vale fulfilled a dream of its first members. The cooperative inaugurated, on November 7th, the day of its anniversary, a soy crusher with a processing capacity of 60 thousand bags/day. The project occupies 12 hectares, in the cooperative's agroindustrial complex, and received more than R$1 billion in investments between 2021 and 2023. It is the third largest crusher in Brazil in industrial plants with just one production line and the first in technological level. The works took two years to be completed and involved 1,100 employees from 35 companies. The inauguration ceremony brought together six thousand guests, including the governor of Paraná, Ratinho Junior, a large number of politicians, representatives of entities, financial institutions, suppliers and customers from Brazil and abroad, as well as members and employees.
