The lingering late summer scent of fruit orchards laden with cherries and plums and
hedgerow blackberries is melded with lavish chocolate and coffee tones followed by the
sudden, icy clarity of fresh wild mint A splash of water takes you into shady woods
where the heady aroma of dark, syrup forest fruits including blackberries, redcurrants
and bramble jelly linger, then give way to the aroma of sweet marzipan, tropical
coconut and cinnamon-spiced orchard fruits Big and full-flavoured, the effect is mouthwatering,
chewy and then lightly mouth coating.
720 Glenmorangie – Quinta Ruban- Port Wood

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is a velvety textured malt, which is confident, colourful
and dynamic. A mature Glenmorangie that is transferred from the original ex-bourbon
cask and then extra matured or “finished” in port pipes, shipped from the ‘Quintas’ or
wine estates of Portugal. Maturation in the ruby port pipes develops The Quinta Ruban
into a voluptuously smooth spirit with a complex balance of sweet and dry flavours that
engage the entire palate and envelope it in an intriguing balance of smooth velvet and
crisp, cooling textures. Its key flavour notes are rich, chocolaty and minty.
719 Glenmorangie – Madeira Wood

On the nose it is sweet and spicy with just a hint of fruit cake. The palate is filled with
barley sugar sweetness which develops into cinnamon and spices before the Madeira
taste makes an appearance. On the finish it is short and sweet but warming.
721 Glenmorangie – Sherry Wood

Matured for fifteen years in old bourbon casks, it has a complex aroma with sweet
sherry wine notes and traces of honey, just add a touch of water and citrus fruits
emerge and maybe a trace of nuts. The flavour is full and creamy with a light, dry
finish.
699 Glenmorangie Lasanta

Glenmorangie Lasanta is an elegant and full-bodied single malt that has been extra
matured in Spanish Oloroso casks after a minimum of 10 years in ex-bourbon casks. Its
luscious, soft mouth filling texture and its deep, enticing, sweet aroma is very
appealing. Its key flavour notes are of toffee, raisins and walnuts. Like the most
delicious dessert menu imaginable, Lasanta taunts the senses with chocolate covered
raisins, honeycomb and smooth caramel toffee. Citrus notes clear the way for the crispy
burnt sugar and melting softness of crème brulée to be replaced by the rich aroma of
rum and raisin ice cream. The full, sweet flavour typical of Spanish sherry with
sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and butter toffee. Satisfyingly long finish with
spiced orange and chocolate enrobed hazelnuts.
694 Glenmorangie Nectar D’Or – Sauternes Wood Finish

You can smell plump juicy sultanas, dates, warming ginger, coconut and nutmeg. In
the background, gingerbread is baking in a wood-burning oven. Slip some water into
the whisky to release the frothiness of lemon meringue pie and the rich aroma of
baking fruitcake and warm gingerbread .The smooth, melting creaminess of lemon tart
leaves the mouth full of citrus tang that gives way to crème caramel and zesty lime.
This is replaced by warming ginger coupled with the mellow nutty flavours of nutmeg
and toasted almonds that add warmth and chewiness that melts into oozing lemon
meringue and melting honeycombed.
