Managing updates This chapter includes the following topics: ■ Managing updates for products ■ Testing updates Managing updates for products Manage Updates is where you can manage all of the updates for the products you have selected in My Products. You can view, approve, and delete updates. If you have not added any products to My Products, an error message appears, and you are prompted to create a list of your products. The default location for downloaded updates is as follows: Windows 2008/7/Vista Windows 2003/XP/2000 Chapter C:\Program Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate Administrator\Downloads C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\LiveUpdate Administrator\Downloads 5 Note: The default location cannot be changed after the initial installation of the LiveUpdate Administrator. You can view the contents of the download folder using either the list view or the details view. The list view displays all of the current downloaded updates and definitions for all products. Updates from older revisions do not appear. However, you can use the detail view to view older updates.
