BYLAWS<br />
(Applied to the center’s trainees)<br />
Based on the Decision No. 114/2001/QD-UB dated 26 November 2001, issued by the<br />
Municipal People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City permitting the establishment of<br />
Duc Hanh Medical Treatment Center under HCMC’s DOLISA.<br />
In order to ensure safety, security and order at Duc Hanh Medical Treatment Center,<br />
the Board of Directors regulates as follows:<br />
• Article 1: Trainees shall absolutely comply with every regulation of the Board of<br />
Directors and every directive of the immediate staff-in-charge.<br />
• Article 2: [Detainees must] absolutely comply with the timetable assigned for<br />
labor, studying and personal activities. Every activity of trainees must be<br />
reported and subject to the approval of the immediate staff-in-charge.<br />
• Article 3: [Detainees are ordered] to enthusiastically labor, study and improve<br />
one’s dignity and personality, to elevate one’s organizational awareness to<br />
participate in every treatment and therapy program throughout the period of<br />
undergoing rehab treatment at the Medical Treatment Center.<br />
• Article 4: [Detainees are ordered] to protect Socialist property, not to vandalize<br />
public and private properties, not to steal properties for private use, not to take<br />
advantage and beg for favors, not to organize violent gangs to bully, and not to<br />
escape the center or organize escapes.<br />
• Article 5: [Detainees are ordered] to practice a civilized lifestyle and a healthy<br />
culture. No swearing, lying, no shaving the head, no trouble-causing [behavior]<br />
to jeopardize solidarity. [Detainees are ordered] to maintain personal and<br />
public hygiene and keep their belongings in good order.<br />
• Article 6: <strong>The</strong> infiltration, possession, circulation and use of depraved cultural<br />
products [i.e. publications], sharp objects, bank notes, precious metal and<br />
