people of Sabah <strong>and</strong> Sarawak.<br />

2. To study, record <strong>and</strong> collect different terminologies used in Sabah <strong>and</strong> Sarawak to enrich<br />

Bahasa Melayu.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Borneo Literature Bureau published a couple of <strong>Bidayuh</strong> phrasebooks. It also organized writing<br />

competitions in various <strong>Bidayuh</strong> dialects <strong>and</strong> published the prizewinning stories in a few titles. Also it<br />

published translations from English, such as the story of Daniel. Table 2 shows the BLB publications in<br />

<strong>Bidayuh</strong> that the authors are aware of.<br />
