had an exciting season.<br />

Going into <strong>the</strong> Scotty<br />

Duncan Memorial Tournament,<br />

<strong>the</strong> Hens were<br />

ranked eighth in District<br />

II and <strong>the</strong>y finished sixth<br />

overall. The team played<br />

very close to <strong>the</strong>ir potential<br />

all season, said<br />

Coach James Kent. The<br />

team improved over <strong>the</strong><br />

season by establishing a<br />

166 Men's Golf<br />

high level <strong>of</strong> consistent<br />

play.<br />

The Hens were led this<br />

season by captains Duke<br />

Bowen and Dave Mc-<br />

Crystal. The team received<br />

many honors<br />

throughout <strong>the</strong> season.<br />

Four players were chosen<br />

as part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> top 10<br />

NAC finishers: Dave<br />

McCrystal, Duke Bowen,<br />

Gary Cecchet, and<br />

Kyle Mayhew.<br />

Kent said th<strong>at</strong> next<br />

year could be "an exciting<br />

year." Kent feels th<strong>at</strong><br />

with <strong>the</strong> key returnees<br />

and <strong>the</strong> solid looking incoming<br />

freshmen, it<br />

should be a good year.<br />
