The Cookie Connection is Going Seasonal and Online
In 2009, the Cookie Connection magazine will be going to two printed issues and five
online issues. The two printed issues will be released as Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter
issues, respectively, along with the launch of each new catalog launch.
Why was this decision made?
We understand that this is a big change, but it was a
business decision that we believe will help the company
operate more efficiently. Our first goal is to continue to
provide fabulous jewelry at great prices, and it is also
important for us to give you the tools you need to be
successful. We are excited about the opportunities that
going online will give us now and in the future.
What will be different about the
online issues?
The first online issue will come out in March, followed
by the April/May, June/July, October, November/
December issues. The content in these issues will be
very similar to what is currently included in the printed
issues; including the promotions and recognition.
Some of the added benefits will be:
Ability to forward individual articles, your
promotion, Cookie Tips, etc, to those in your email
list and Downline
Search feature to find specific topics
Increased recognition—no more space limitations!
In the near future, we also plan to add multi-media
features such as video-streaming of Cookie Tips!
What can I expect to see in the
printed issues?
The primary objective for the printed issues is to
maintain their relevance for the duration of the
Spring/Summer season. These issues will be great to
use for prospective Consultants and new Consultants
as the information will consist of big announcements,
important dates, overview of training opportunities,
articles that are relevant to all Consultant’s businesses,
recognition, etc. All Consultants who have been
promoted since the last printed issue will have their
names listed in the most recent issue, in addition to
having their profile and picture published online at the
time of their promotion.
Again, we understand that this is a big change and we
appreciate your patience as we make the transition.
Our goal is to make the online versions fun, easy to
use, and, of course, fashion forward!
