I wanted to earn some extra
money so I could spoil myself
every once in a while. I love to
shop and buy clothes, and now I
buy clothes to match my jewelry. I
also wear my jewelry every day as
though I’m going to meet my next
hostess or recruit. I tell others,
“If you want to earn extra money,
make friends that become your
sisters and be recognized for all
your accomplishments, then let me
show you a way to do it all!”
Stay true to your business
and focused on your goals. I get
approached to sign on to other direct
sales businesses. My response is, “I
have been married for 35 years. I
stay true to my successes and my
failures. How will I know if I ever
succeed at something if I don’t see
it through?” Don’t change because
you think it might be greener on
the other side of the fence.

I love being able to motivate my
Downline and watch them achieve
their own goals. I find it helpful
to tell potential Consultants that,
“I am going to be here to help you
all the way!” I am motivated to
succeed with Cookie Lee because of
the earning potential but also to be
able to help other women and their
families in this economy.

I ask everyone if they want to
book a show. You never know who
is going to say, “yes”! To increase
sales, I offer Customer Specials at
my shows. I tell potential recruits
how much I make at each show
and they are very impressed. I also
say, I’m a full-time dental hygienist
with two young kids, if I can find
time to do this so can you!

I make sure to ask at least one
person to join my team every
day! I enjoy helping give someone
who may not have a lot of
confidence, the tools they need to
become successful and feel good
themselves. I tell others, “Cookie
Lee is the best thing I ever did for
myself, and if you want something
bad enough you can succeed at it..
Just give me an hour of your time
to change your life!”
Helping other women realize
their potential has been the best
part of being a leader. So many
women don’t feel good about
themselves. I love offering this
great business that not only helps
them boost their self-esteem and
self-confidence, but also helps them
grow and see for themselves that
they CAN do it! !

I always wear the jewelry when
I go out. I package the catalog,
Recruiting Brochure and my
business cards together in a clear
bag. So when someone asks me
about my jewelry, I’m ready! I also
put a sticky note on the front so I
have something immediately on
hand to take their information.
My advice is to remember that
timing is everything!
