Spring/Summer 2009 brings NEW Training for all Cookie LeeConsultants
and leaders! This year Cookie Lee is launching the all NEW Consultant
Basics and Leader Basics training programs!
NEW! Consultant Basics
Cookie Lee’s new Consultant Basics will replace what
was previously known as New Consultant Training
(NCT). Whereas New Consultant Training was directed
to new Consultants only, the Consultant Basics program
will provide the basic skills needed by Consultants and
leaders at all levels. The 6 Skills of the Selling Cycle is being
replaced with Consultant Basics. Product Knowledge,
which was one of Cookie Lee’s personal requests, has
been added. Here is a list of our updated Consultant
Basics training: 1) Contacts and Referrals; 2) Booking;
3) Hostess Coaching; 4) The Home Show; 5) Follow-up;
6) Recruiting, and 7) Product Knowledge. This exciting
new training series will provide tips and direction on the
basic fundamentals of our business. And, the best part
is that Consultant Basics will be trained by leaders in
their own areas as they see the need or hear the request
from their Group. No longer will you have to wait for
someone to come in to train, and no longer will there be a
minimum attendance required to schedule the training.
A leader can now present Consultant Basics training
around her kitchen table, living room, in a restaurant
or meeting room depending on the size of the group.
Please note: NCT Online will continue to be available to
all new Consultants in 2009 and will slowly evolve into
Consultant Basics Online by the end of 2009.

NEW! Leader Basics
Our other new training program is Leader Basics, which
will take the place of Emerging Leadership Training.
This program will be taught by leaders to meet the needs
of both established and emerging leaders. Leader Basics
will consist of 7 leader basic fundamentals: 1) Incentives
and Recognition; 2) Effective Unit Meetings; 3) Career
Path Reports; 4) Time Management; 5) Business
Opportunity Meetings; 6) Identifying and Promoting
Leaders, and 7) Coaching Skills.
GREAT! 2nd Saturday Training
Cookie Lee will still be presenting our successful 2nd
Saturday Training (SST) series! Held the second Saturday
of every month (excluding August and January) in
Showroom cities, 2nd Saturday Training will help you
maximize the key features of the Career Path, learn how
to train and mentor your new Consultants, and increase
bookings, sales and recruits at your home shows. Plus,
learn new jewelry trends and tips that will help you upsell
and become a “jewelry expert”! SST will also continue to
