<strong>Data</strong> <strong>Domain</strong> recommends setting time-outs to at least 30 minutes. You can do this by adding the<br />
following lines to the [NetBackupInstall_directory]/bp.conf file:<br />
CLIENT_CONNECT_TIMEOUT = 30<br />
CLIENT_READ_TIMEOUT = 30<br />
Alternatively, you can use the NetBackup graphical user interface (GUI) to change the settings.<br />
To change NetBackup time-out settings using the GUI:<br />
1. Expand the NetBackup Management node.<br />
2. Expand Host Properties.<br />
3. Select Master Servers.<br />
4. In the right pane, double-click the machine name. A property window is displayed.<br />
5. Change the time-out values in the property window.<br />
