No, <strong>the</strong> qualified supervising driver will<br />

record details in <strong>the</strong> log book issued to<br />

<strong>the</strong> learner driver.<br />

Can my parents still teach me<br />

to drive?<br />

Yes, any person who has held an<br />

unconditional licence for <strong>the</strong> preceding<br />

two years (not a learner’s permit,<br />

provisional or probationary licence)<br />

applicable to <strong>the</strong> class of vehicle<br />

being driven may teach you to drive.<br />

Remember to make sure you get that<br />

person to record <strong>the</strong> time spent driving<br />

in <strong>the</strong> Log book section of <strong>the</strong> Driving<br />

Companion after every practice.<br />

Who can teach me?<br />

Anyone, including parents, friends or a Motor<br />

Driving Instructor who has held a full licence<br />

for two years or longer and has not been<br />
