Be sure the installer versions and tools use 32-bit or 64-bit JVMs and downloads as<br />
appropriate to target machine architectures.<br />
Java heap size settings<br />
The default Java heap initial and max size settings on management containers are:<br />
-Xms64m -Xmx512m<br />
Note Upgrades or deployments on new machines might experience issues with JVM memory<br />
usage. Be sure to test applications on anticipated machine types and JVMs.<br />
Compatibilities with Other <strong>Progress</strong> <strong>Product</strong>s<br />
This release of <strong>Sonic</strong> requires that associated <strong>Progress</strong> products use specific versions:<br />
● Actional — Management servers and agents must be release 8.2.3<br />
● Dataxtend SI — Must be at release <strong>8.5</strong> and its Eclipse at 3.6<br />
Install or upgrade these products to ensure compatibility.<br />
