Displaying validation markers in message mapping pages
Errors encountered on validating an ESB process are displayed in the ESB editor root
page. Validation markers are set on the resource for each invalid mapping rule. When you
move the mouse pointer over the validation marker, the error is displayed, as shown in the
following image:
Support EL Expressions for Runtime Parameters
Sonic 8.5 release provides support for runtime parameters at message mapping level in
addition to defining process context properties in the request/ response/ fault mapping
pages.
Prior to Sonic 8.5 release, you had to set runtime parameter value in the Service page or
you had to map the parameter to incoming XQMessage by clicking the checkbox in runtime
parameters table. Limitation to this approach was that you cannot add any new parameter
and you had to use the existing parameters defined at service type level.
