What’s Also New in Sonic ESB and Sonic Workbench
In Sonic 8.5 release, it is now possible to drag and drop Directory Service Address nodes
on ESBP Entry, Exit, Fault and RME endpoint node. For example, you can drag and drop
an Entry endpoint from the Project Explorer to the ESBP editor
.
You can also drag and drop an ESB Address on Process flow to create an appropriate step.
The dropped address will get set as the Service/Endpoint/Process for the step. For
example, in the following screen capture, a service is dragged and dropped to an existing
ESB process to create a step.
Quick way to create ESB Process from the Project Explorer
You can create ESB Processes from Project Explorer by clicking the context menu of the
service operations available in domain node and able to run it.
For more information, see Chapter 10 “Getting started with Sonic ESB and DataXtend
SI” in the “Progress Sonic ESB Developer's Guide”.
