Johannes Lange: In Plessa war immer viel los: Bergmannsfeste, Blumenfeste, Kinderfeste.
Paradies 2 war jedoch eine neue Qualität. So etwas gab es im Ort noch nie. In
Plessa there was always something going on: Miners’ celebrations, flower festivals,
children’s celebrations. But Paradise 2 brought a new quality. Something like that has
never happened before in this place. Hans-Joachim Schubert: Paradies 2 hat gezeigt,
dass im oftmals zerstrittenen Plessa Teamleistung möglich ist. Es war höchste Zeit
dafür. Paradise 2 showed that in Plessa, where people often argue, teamwork is possible.
It was high time for that. Ralf Steglich: Ich wünsche mir, dass dieser Zusammenhalt,
der durch Paradies 2 in Plessa entstand, erhalten bleibt. I hope that this sense of

togetherness that emerged from Paradise 2, will remain in Plessa. Bernd Kadur: Schritt
für Schritt hat sich die anfängliche Skepsis gelegt und es kamen immer mehr Akteure
dazu. Über diese wahrlich »paradiesische« Veranstaltung wird auch in 50 Jahren
noch in Plessa gesprochen werden. Wenn alle Vereine zusammenarbeiten, dann ist
doch allerhand zu machen! Little by little the initial skepticism was laid aside and
more and more participants came into it. These truly »paradisical« events will still be
talked about in Plessa 50 years from now. When all associations cooperate, a lot can
