51 COMERCIO AL POR MAYOR Y/O EN COMISIÓN O CONSIGNACIÓN, EXCEPTO EL COMERCIO DE VEHÍCULOS AUTOMOTORES Y MOTOCICLETAS En esta división se incluye la reventa - venta sin transformación - de productos nuevos o usados a minoristas, usuarios industriales, comerciantes, instituciones o profesionales; a otros mayoristas; y a quienes actúan en calidad de agentes o corredores en la compra y/o venta de mercaderías en nombre de dichas personas o empresas. Entre los mayoristas comerciales se encuentran aquellos que adquieren propiedad de las mercancías para comercializarlas, como por ejemplo: revendedores e intermediarios al por mayor distribuidores industriales; exportadores; importadores; empresas de ensilado de granos cooperativas de compra y sucursales y oficinas de venta - excepto los comercios de venta al pormenor - que son mantenidas por unidades manufactureras o mineras como entidades separadas de la fábrica o mina propiamente dicha para que comercialicen sus productos y que no se limitan solamente a tomar pedidos de tales productos para su envío directo desde la fábrica o mina. Esta división comprende también las actividades de los corredores de mercaderías y productos básicos, los comisionistas, agentes, recolectores y compradores, y las cooperativas de comercialización de productos agropecuarios. Con frecuencia los mayoristas agrupan, seleccionan y clasifican las mercancías en grandes lotes, que luego fraccionan para reenvasarlas y distribuirlas en lotes más pequeños - el caso, por ejemplo, de los productos farmacéuticos -; almacenan, entregan e instalan las mercaderías; y se encargan de promover las ventas de sus clientes y de diseñar las etiquetas. Esta división no abarca, en cambio, la venta al por mayor de vehículos automotores, motocicletas y trineos motorizados (clases 5010 y 5040), respectivamente. Las actividades de agente y corredores especializados en contratos a término -o facturas -de productos básicos y de las bolsas de concertación de esos contratos (grupo 671). La venta al por mayor y al por menor, el mantenimiento de vehículos nuevos y de segunda mano y de repuestos y accesorios (división 50).
