SAN PEDRO TARAPACÁ Y SU APORTE AL MEDIO AMBIENTE. En
el marco del programa “360° Sustentable”, el grupo ha invertido US$ 1 millón
en los últimos tres años, implementando diversas iniciativas para hacer
más eficiente el uso de energía, gracias a las cuales en 2010 ahorró más de
270.000 KWh y ha logrado reducir el uso de agua en la bodega de Molina
en 26% en tres años.
PISQUERA TULAHUÉN PRESENTÓ PISCO PREMIUM. Waqar
es el resultado de cinco generaciones de destiladores de la familia
Camposano, pioneras en la producción y comercialización del pisco
en Chile. El enólogo Jaime Camposano es el responsable de este pisco
con aromas a frutas blancas y azahar y en que se utiliza sólo el “corazón”
del alcohol. El 90% de la producción se destinará a exportación y
en Chile tendrá un precio de $27.500.
RECOMENDACIONES PARA BODEGAS FRENTE A SISMOS. A raíz
de los daños sufridos por muchas bodegas con el terremoto, los Consorcios
Tecnológicos levantaron un catastro de los daños y fallas sufridas en las
estructuras de almacenaje, datos que permitieron elaborar un manual con
recomendaciones para evitar problemas en futuros sismos. Este documento
fue presentado y entregado a los asistentes de varios seminarios que se realizaron
en Santiago y regiones.
PROCHILE PREMIA A EMILIANA. La entidad estatal premió a diferentes
asociaciones, empresas y profesionales que han logrado destacarse en distintos
ámbitos relevantes para la promoción de exportaciones. En este contexto,
reconoció a Emiliana por haber incorporado la sustentabilidad en sus
procesos productivos y en su relación con los trabajadores y la comunidad.
MIGUEL TORRES REINAUGURÓ SU RESTAURANTE DE VINOS. La
filial curicana del grupo Torres estrenó una nueva apuesta gastronómica en
su ya tradicional espacio en la capitalina Isidora Goyenechea. A través de
una alianza con el Grupo Sagardi, que opera varios restaurantes en Europa,
además de la Vinoteca Torres en Barcelona, ofrece una cocina de mercado,
sabrosa y con carácter.

that boasts white fruit and orange blossom aromas where only
the “heart” of distilling is used. 90% of the production will be
exported and the pisco will be sold locally for usD 55.00.
EARTHQUAKE MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR
WINERIES. following the damage sustained by many wineries in
the 2010 earthquake, the technological consortiums conducted a
study on the damage caused to storage structures. findings were
published in a manual that contains useful recommendations for
wineries to prevent and manage earthquake-related damage. the
manual was presented and distributed among participants in a
number of seminars conducted in santiago and several regions.

agency singled out associations, companies and professionals
for their outstanding performance in various export promotion
endeavors. emiliana was rewarded for its sustainable approach to
the winery’s production processes and towards its relationship with
both workers and the community.
MIGUEL TORRES REOPENS WINE RESTAURANT. the
curicó-based affiliate of the torres holding launched its latest
gastronomical endeavor at its traditional venue in santiago’s
popular isidora goyenechea avenue. through a joint venture with
the sagardi group, which operates a number of restaurants in
europe and vinoteca torres in Barcelona, this restaurant offers a
flavorful market cuisine with a very distinct character.
