Hace mucho calor. Percibimos un gran contraste
entre La Habana en recuperación o restauración,
y sus límites inmediatos. Hay una Ciudad poderosa
y económicamente ofrecida al turismo con poder
alto adquisitivo, entremezclada con otra Ciudad
de tradición histórica que refleja muchos años de
desgaste y hasta donde es posible advertirlo, con
muchas carencias.

Time goes by in Havana, foreign visitors take
to the street with their knapsacks and caps to
walk long distances. Through their senses and
their cameras, they capture images of that
unknown place of which they have little and
vague understanding. While walking; architecture,
sculptures, stores, people, cigars, drinks,
food, the sea, the hurricanes, history, among
other things in Havana-Cuban alone, which
hold their attention.
El tiempo trascurre en La Habana, el visitante-
extranjero sale con su mochila y gorra a recorrer
largos trayectos. Captura imágenes a través de
los sentidos y de la cámara fotográfica de aquel
lugar desconocido del cual posee pocos y difusos
referentes. Mientras camina, su atención es asaltada
por la arquitectura, la escultura, las tiendas,
las personas, los dichos, el tabaco, la bebida,
la comida, el mar, el huracán y la historia, entre
otras, que conforman ese todo habanero-cubano.
