implantes osteointegrados en pacientes con
liquen plano oral, aunque parece que las sobredentaduras
sobre implantes pueden reducir la
aparición de lesiones erosivas
Lo que sí que está claro es la importancia del
tratamiento periodontal en los pacientes con
liquen, ya que, aunque la placa no sea la responsable
directa de las lesiones, se ha visto que
la eliminación de la misma provoca una mejoría
en los pacientes.
