GENERAL DENTIST<br />
Grenfell Regional Health Services invites applications for the position of<br />
permanent general dentist on a full-time basis for northern Newfoundland<br />
and southern Labrador, effective April 1, 2005. This is a challenging and<br />
interesting area where dental services are provided from regional bases in<br />
Newfoundland and travelling clinics on the south Labrador coast. The<br />
travelling requirement is approximately 1/3 of the total working time.<br />
Salary for this position is on an 11 point government scale of $75,433-<br />
$94,916. Initial placement on this scale will be dependent on years of<br />
experience. An isolation bonus payment ranging from $5,000-$10,000 will<br />
be payable upon the completion of 1 full year of service. Currently, a<br />
retention incentive of $10,000 annually, payable bi-weekly, is also in effect.<br />
Fringe benefits include 6 weeks paid leave in a 12 month term. Assistance<br />
with relocation and continuing education costs are available.<br />
Accommodations are available at a reasonable rate.<br />
Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Newfoundland and<br />
Labrador <strong>Dental</strong> Board. Preference will be given to applicants who are<br />
agreeable to working for a minimum 24 month term. Experience in oral<br />
surgery is desirable. Experience in general dentistry is essential.<br />

a faculty position in Removable Prosthodontics at the Assistant/Associate<br />
Professor level depending on qualifications. The College of Dentistry is<br />
implementing an active program of curriculum renewal, faculty renewal,<br />
and research intensification. The successful candidate will be an integral<br />
part of this process. Applicants will have postgraduate training in<br />
removable prosthodontics at the Masters or Ph.D. level with relevant<br />
clinical qualifications. Responsibilities will include didactic and clinical<br />
instruction of undergraduate students, research programs and<br />
administration. On-site and off-site private practice privileges are available.<br />
