Under the direction of Jean-Claude Malgoire,
she took part in a tour of the Monteverdi
operatic trilogy. With Les Arts Florissants under
William Christie she sang Ericlea in Il ritorno
d’Ulisse at the Festival of Aix-en-Provence and on
international tour.
In January 2002 she was awarded a Grand Prix for
opera at the International Singing Competition
in Clermont-Ferrand.
Other operatic roles have included Annina in La
traviata at the Aix Festival and, in June 2006,
Filipievna in Eugene Onegin at the Opéra de
Metz.
Robert Getchell, high tenor
Born in the United States, where he began his
musical studies, Robert Getchell continued his
training at the Maîtrise du Centre de Musique
Baroque de Versailles. He then moved to Holland
for tuition with Margreet Honig at the Amsterdam
Conservatory, while also studying early music
with the haute-contre Howard Crook.
Robert Getchell is now one of the most soughtafter
young soloists with such Baroque ensembles
as Les Talens Lyriques, Les Folies Françoises,
Amaryllis, Concerto Köln, Ensemble Pierre Robert,
and Al Ayre Español, but also with more generally
orientated vocal groups as Accentus and the
Nederlands Kamerkoor.
In the field of Baroque opera he has sung solo
parts in Lully’s Persée and Roland and Purcell’s The
Fairy Queen conducted by Christophe Rousset, as
