Koen van Sta<strong>de</strong>, tenor<br />
Koen van Sta<strong>de</strong>, tenor, began his training in<br />
singing and organ as a member of the boys’<br />
choir of northern Hol<strong>la</strong>nd. He went on to<br />
study organ and church music with Jos van <strong>de</strong>r<br />
Kooy at the conservatories of Alkmaar and The<br />
Hague, then singing with Peter Kooy and Max<br />
van Egmond at the Amsterdam Conservatory.<br />
He also received guidance from Charles van<br />
Tassel and Paul Hameleers. Koen van Sta<strong>de</strong><br />
has participated in many radio, television and<br />
CD recordings both in the Nether<strong>la</strong>nds and<br />
abroad. He appears regu<strong>la</strong>rly in recital with Leo<br />
van Doese<strong>la</strong>ar and Jos van <strong>de</strong>r Kooy, and sings<br />
with such well-known ensembles as Collegium<br />
Vocale Gent, <strong>La</strong> <strong>Chapelle</strong> Royale, Sette Voci,<br />
The Amsterdam Baroque Choir, Die Rheinische<br />
Kantorei, De Ne<strong>de</strong>r<strong>la</strong>ndse Opera, and Cappel<strong>la</strong><br />
Amsterdam.<br />
Róbert Morvai, tenor<br />
Róbert Morvai, tenor, was born in Stuttgart<br />
in 1976. After training as a pianist with Mária<br />
Székely at the Subotica Conservatory, he<br />
studied the organ with Ludger Lohmann and<br />
conducting with Dieter Kurz at the Staatliche<br />
Hochschule für Musik und darstellen<strong>de</strong> Kunst in<br />
Stuttgart. He then went on to advanced vocal<br />
Bach (Passionen und Kantaten) aber auch die<br />
großen k<strong>la</strong>ssischen und romantischen Oratorien<br />
(Mozart, Haydn, Men<strong>de</strong>lssohn, Berlioz).<br />
Tenor, erhielt seinen ersten Gesangs- und<br />
Orgelunterricht an <strong>de</strong>r Chorschule <strong>de</strong>s Noord-<br />
Hol<strong>la</strong>nds Jongenskoor. Er studierte zunächst Orgel<br />
und Kirchenmusik bei Jos van <strong>de</strong>r Kooy an <strong>de</strong>n<br />
Konservatorien in Alkmaar und Den Haag, danach<br />
Gesang bei Peter Kooy und Max van Egmond am<br />
Konservatorium in Amsterdam. Anschließend<br />
nahm er Unterricht bei Charles van Tassel und Paul<br />
Hameleers. Als Solist wirkte er bei verschie<strong>de</strong>nen<br />
Radio-, Fernseh- und CD-Aufnahmen in <strong>de</strong>n<br />
Nie<strong>de</strong>r<strong>la</strong>n<strong>de</strong>n und <strong>de</strong>m europäischen Aus<strong>la</strong>nd mit.<br />
Koen van Sta<strong>de</strong> musiziert auch im Duett mit Leo<br />
van Doese<strong>la</strong>ar und Jos van <strong>de</strong>r Kooy. Als Ensemble-<br />
Sänger ist er im Collegium Vocale Gent, <strong>La</strong> <strong>Chapelle</strong><br />
Royale, Sette Voci, The Amsterdam Baroque Choir,<br />
Die Rheinische Kantorei, De Ne<strong>de</strong>r<strong>la</strong>ndse Opera<br />
und Cappel<strong>la</strong> Amsterdam tätig.<br />
