Thymo glabrescenti-Phlometum armeniaca<br />

Kaya & Ketenoğlu ass. nov. (Table 7)<br />

Holotype: relevé 63, between Ovabağ-<br />

Viranşehir yolu, South of Bedro plateau, 9 km,<br />

Lat: 37o 34’ 477’’ N, Lon: 039o 52’ 709’’ E,<br />

1470 m, cover 70%, size of sample plot: 50 m2 .<br />

e association deploys in all directions and<br />

it was identified in east of the study area, 9 km<br />

south of Bedro Plateau on the road between<br />

Ovabağ and Viranşehir and at an altitude of<br />

1460-1475 m. e reaction of the soil is<br />

slightly asidic (pH 6.4) and the soil is clayloamy.<br />

between 5 o -10 o slopes. e association is on<br />

volcanic bedrock. Phlomis armeniaca Willd. is<br />

dominant on the physiognomy of the association.<br />

It is an endemic species and Irano-<br />

Turanian element. Although it is wide spread<br />

in Turkey, it is especially seen in Central Anatolia.<br />

No similarity of this association with any others<br />

introduced before has ever been found.<br />

orientali-Astragalion gummiferi all. nov.,<br />

alliance of Astragalo microcephali-Brometea<br />

tomentelli Quézel 1973 class.<br />
