The subject must not be backlit.• Some lighting systems (e.g. coloured fluorescent lights) may false the colours.• Arrange a suitable circuit breaker and fuse upstream of the devices.• Make sure that the rating plate data corresponds to the power specifications before connecting thedevice to the mains.SAFETY PRECAUTIONS• Keep the device away from rain and humidity to prevent the risk of fire and electrocution.• Avoid introducing any object or liquid into the device. If this should accidentally occur, disconnect thedevice from the mains and have it inspected by qualified personnel.INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS• Arrange the device in a well-ventilated place to prevent overheating.• For the same reason, do not install sources of heat, such as radiators or hot air ducts. Keep awayfrom direct sunlight. Do not install in areas subject to excessive dust, mechanical vibrations orshocks.• Take the operating temperature range of the device (from +5°C to +40°C) into account whenchoosing the installation place. Do not install the unit over another unit which generates heat.• Wait for a while before operating a device immediately after transporting it from a cold place to awarm place and vice versa. Wait on average for three hours: this will allow the device to adapt to thenew ambient (temperature, humidity, etc.).• Do not arrange this device on an unstable surface, such as a tottering or slanted table. The devicecould fall causing injury or mechanical failures.• Do not install the device in a place where it could be exposed to humidity or water. Do not direct a jetof water onto the device: risk of fire and electrocution.
