Invites the Contracting Parties and the Executive Director of UNEPto ensure that the Thirteenth Ordinary Meeting of the ContractingParties to the Convention for the Protection of the MediterraneanSea Against Pollution and its Related Protocols considers themeasures and actions necessary for the successful implementationof the Protocol;2. Also calls on the Executive Director of UNEP to initiate consultationswith the Contracting Parties and with the Secretary-General of theInternational Maritime Organization (IMO) on the workplan andtimetable for meetings of experts to elaborate the technical aspectsof the implementation of the Protocol;3. Invites the Executive Director of UNEP to establish cooperation withrelevant regional and international organizations, in particular IMO,in activities related to the implementation of this Protocol;17
