Attaching and removing the sports buggy seat orcarry-cot (upper section)4 3Place the upper section (sports buggy seat or carry-cot)onto the pram chassis in such a way that the lateralbars 1 of the upper section click into the slots provided2 on each side of the chassis and push the uppersection in as far as it will go. The locks then closeautomatically. (The locks must „click“ into place.)WARNING:Check that the pram body or seat unit attachmentdevices are correctly engagedbefore use. The upper section is secure if the redfield in the release lever is no longer visible. To removethe upper section press the safety lever (3) up andthen the release lever (4) down until the lever locks.(red field appears). Then pull the upper section out ofthe slots and remove it.How to use the hoodPush the insert pieces for the hood joints into thecorresponding openings on the armrest or on thecarry-cot.Attention: You must secure the press studs on theback end of the cover onto the rear of the backrestas the cover is also used as a protection againstfalling out.If you need to remove the hood, undo the press studson the rear of the backrest; press the release buttonson the insert pieces of the hood joints and pull thejoints out of the openings. You can open the zip at thetop of the hood for ventilation.Adjusting the BackrestPull the grip 1 upwards andmove the backrest 2 intothe required position.Please make sure that thebackrest re-engages properly.Adjusting the FootrestLift the footrest and engage the bar in the requiredstrut. Caution: There is a red safety hook at the footrest.When the footrest is horizontal this hook must bepushed onto the adjusting bar.Using the 5-point harnessYou can position the shoulder harnesses at 3 levels.Always use the position closest to the shoulder levelof your child. To open the harness press the centralbutton on the buckle. To adjust the shoulder/ weistharness pull the free ends of the strap.Adjusting the restraintsSafety barPush the insert pieces on the safety bar through theslots in the seat cover into the receptacles beneath,which are located in the armrests. Make sure that thesafety bar has clicked into place on both sides. To removeit, press the release buttons on the insert pieces.In order to make it easier for your child to get inand out, it suffices to release and fold up one side ofthe bar.WHEEL INFORMATIONWe should like to mention a few points regarding ourpneumatic tyres:1. Transport is most comfortable if the tire pressure is1.5 – 2 bar (22 – 29 psi). If the tire pressure is lower,there will be disproportionate wear on the tubes.Caution: Always observe the maximum inflation pressurestated on the tyres, which is reached quickly dueto the small volume.Exceeding the pressure may cause accidents or injuries.2. If the inner tube needs to be repaired or patched,use either a common bicycle repair kit or a puncturespray (e.g. as used for mountain bikes, mopeds, etc.).To remove the tyre, use the two repair levers that arealways included in any good bicycle repair kit. If necessary,send the wheel to us via your dealer.12 13
