Viewing files on a TV or HDTV<br />
Play back photos or vi<strong>de</strong>os by connecting your camera to a TV (HDTV)<br />
using the A/V cable (HDMI cable).<br />
Viewing files on a TV<br />
1 In Shooting or Playback mo<strong>de</strong>, press [m] → e →<br />
Vi<strong>de</strong>o Out.<br />
2 Select a vi<strong>de</strong>o signal output according to your country or<br />
region. (p. 135)<br />
4 Make sure the TV and the camera are turned on, and<br />
then select the vi<strong>de</strong>o input mo<strong>de</strong> or source (AV or AV1 for<br />
example) of the TV.<br />
5 View the vi<strong>de</strong>os and photos using the buttons on the<br />
camera.<br />
• Depending on the TV mo<strong>de</strong>l, you may see some digital noise or part of an<br />
image may not appear.<br />
• Images may not be centered on the TV screen <strong>de</strong>pending on your TV<br />
settings.<br />
• You can capture photos or vi<strong>de</strong>os while the camera is connected to a TV.<br />
3 Connect the TV and the camera using the A/V cable.<br />
