When the following error messages appear, try these remedies.<br />

Suggested remedies<br />

The lens is locked. Rotate the lens counterclockwise<br />

until you hear a click. (p. 37)<br />

• Turn off your camera, and then turn it on again.<br />

• Remove your memory card and insert it again.<br />

• Format your memory card.<br />

Insert a charged battery or recharge the battery.<br />

Capture photos or insert a memory card that<br />

contains photos.<br />

Delete the damaged file or contact a service center.<br />

Delete unnecessary files or insert a new memory<br />

card.<br />

You can lock SD, SDHC, or SDXC card to prevent<br />

files from being <strong>de</strong>leted. Unlock the card when<br />
