Whenever the English-French artist starts work on a new painting, he begins by telling us
A Change of worlds - 60x48 inches
a story. His characters, which are painted like stained glass figures, do not boast regular
features, as though the artist wanted to allow the spectator to decide how they should
look and perhaps find an echo, a solution to their own torments.
Lorsque cet artiste franco-britannique s’attèle à une nouvelle toile, il tient avant tout à
nous raconter une histoire. Ses personnages peints à la manière de vitraux ne possèdent
pas de traits définis, comme pour mieux laisser le spectateur s’identifier à eux et peutêtre
trouver en résonnance, une solution à ses propres tourments.
