L’artiste s’inspire d’abord de la forme de l’écorce pour imaginer
ses luminaires, cherchant à interpréter ce que l’arbre semble avoir
voulu exprimer, libérant le mouvement, prolongeant l’esprit sur la
matière…
Béatrice Engard crée des œuvres résolument contemporaines,
jouant par exemple avec les alliances de matériaux : liège,
aluminium, vitraux,… ainsi que des collections exceptionnelles sur
des thèmes comme Vin & Lumières, Nature & Eléments ou encore
Vent & Marées à base de bois flotté.

The artist is inspired at first by the shape of the bark to imagine
her lamps, trying to interpret what the tree seems to have express,
freeing the movement, extending the spirit on the material …
Béatrice Engard creates resolutely contemporary works, playing
for example with the alliances of materials : cork, aluminum,
stained glass,... as well as exceptional collections on themes as
Wine and Lights, Nature and Elements or still Wind and Tides with
floated wood.
