KARIN LANSEN
DANS L’ŒIL DE LA PHOTOGRAPHE…
Un besoin vital de figer un instant heureux, de capturer
un moment de vie, c’est ce qu’a ressenti Karin Lansen en
regardant une scène familiale, alors qu’elle n’est qu’une
enfant. Dès lors, une vocation précoce la destine à devenir
photographe professionnelle.
Karin Lansen suit un cursus classique dans une école
de photo à Paris où elle a la chance de rencontrer le
photographe Jean-Pierre Sudre, rencontre importante
pour la jeune femme qui découvre le travail à l’ancienne en
laboratoire. En 1988, Karin Lansen crée son propre studio
photo.
En 2008, la photographe décide de se consacrer
entièrement à la création. Elle connaît rapidement un franc
succès et devient dès 2010, artiste permanente d’une
galerie parisienne. Depuis, l’artiste expose ses images dans
de nombreux Salons d’Arts Contemporains en France et
dans le monde. Elle est medaillée du Salon des Artistes
Français au Grand Palais de Paris en 2013.
Ce qu’aime Karin Lansen c’est arrêter le temps sur un
moment, nous faire partager ses émotions visuelles. Sa
série Un soir sur la Terre nous offre autant d’images qui
nous racontent chacune une histoire et à travers lesquelles
l’observateur ressent l’atmosphère particulière de chacune
des villes.L’artiste se nourrit de ses voyages et de ses
rencontres. En parcourant le monde, Karin Lansen nous
offre des images dont la dimension, à la fois esthétique et
poétique, donnent un sens à sa quête artistique.
SENSUOUSNESS AND MYSTERY OF LEATHER
As she looked at a family scene when she was just
a child, Karin Lansen felt a vital need to freeze a
happy moment, to capture a slice of life… From then
on, a precocious vocation takes her on the path of
professional photography.
As she follows a classical curriculum in a Parisian
school of photography, Karin Lansen meets Jean-
Pierre Sudre, an encounter that would forever
mark the life of the young woman who discovers
traditional laboratory work.
In 1988, Karin Lansen creates her own studio.In 2008,
the photographer decides to dedicate her life to her art.
Success proves immediate and, in 2010, she becomes a
permanent artist of a Parisian gallery. Since then, Lansen
Karin has shown her work in countless art fairs in France
and abroad. She is awarded a medal by the Salon des
Artistes Français in the Grand Palais of Paris in 2013.
Karin Lansen loves nothing more than freezing time
for an instant and sharing her visual emotions. Her
series Un soir sur la Terre offers us plethora of images
that each tell a tale and through which the viewer
feels the specific atmosphere of each metropolis.
The artist feeds from her journeys and encounters.
Wandering the world, Karin Lansen gives us images
that give sense to her artistic quest through their
