On February 20, the »Los peques van al quirófano en coche«<br />
initiative was officially launched, offering children in need of<br />
surgical treatment at the Vithas Parque San Antonio Hospital<br />
a remote-controlled electric car to assist them into the operating<br />
theatre. This measure aims to reduce the stress of surgery<br />
and help both children and their parents to cope better with the<br />
situation.<br />
Mercedes Mengíbar, Managing Director of Vithas Costa del Sol,<br />
and the doctors Miguel Ángel Guzmán and Juan Pérez, Medical<br />
Director and Head of the Children's Ward of Vithas Parque San<br />
Antonio Hospital, attended the event which took place in the<br />
