La journée mondiale de l'environnement, célébrée chaque 5 juin de l'année pour la
sensibilisation et l'action mondiales en faveur de la protection de notre environnement,
avait pour thème la biodiversité, cette année, avec le slogan "time for nature".

World environment day, celebrated every 5th june of the year for global awareness and action to
protect our environment, had the theme of biodiversity, this year, with the slogan, "time for nature".
Célébrée à l’aube de la célébration de
la 60ème année de l’indépendance de
Madagascar, accentuée par la période de
crise sanitaire mondiale et de quelques
journées mondiales propices à la Nature,
la célébration de cette journée prendra une
tournure exceptionnelle tout en montrant les
enjeux de la protection de la biodiversité. Sous le leadership
du Ministère de l’Environnement et du Développement
Durable et en collaboration avec des organismes de
conservation telles que Conservation International (CI),
Fondation des Aires Protégées de Madagascar (FAPBM),
Fondation Tany Meva, Madagascar National Parks (MNP),
Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) et World Wide Fund
(WWF), le Mois de la Nature nous invite à réfléchir quant à
l’avenir de la biodiversité à Madagascar dans les années à
venir et à la dégradation du monde naturel.
Le mois a célébré les héros de la nature, montrant qu'il
y a de grands hommes et femmes partout sur l'île qui se
battent pour sauver la planète. Grâce à une photo spéciale
du profil Facebook du Mois de la Nature, les internautes
ont également été invités à participer à l'environnement
spécial #30daysChallenge sur les réseaux sociaux avec les
hashtag #HoAnNatiora et #Connect2Earth et à partager
des vidéos de leurs défis tout au long du mois de juin.
Celebrated at the dawn of the celebration
of the 60th year of Madagascar's
independence, accentuated by the period
of global health crisis and a few world
days favourable to Nature, the celebration
of this day took an exceptional turn
while showing the stakes of biodiversity
protection. Under the leadership of the Ministry of
Environment and Sustainable Development and in
collaboration with conservation organisations such as
Conservation International (CI), Fondation des Aires
Protégées de Madagascar (FAPBM), Fondation Tany Meva,
Madagascar National Parks (MNP), Wildlife Conservation
Society (WCS) and World Wide Fund (WWF), the Month of
Nature invited us to reflect on the future of biodiversity in
Madagascar in the coming years and the degradation of
the natural world.
The month celebrated Nature's heroes, showing that
there are great men and women all over the island who are
fighting to save the Planet. With a special Nature Month
Facebook profile picture set available, internet users
were also invited to participate in the #30daysChallenge
special environment on social networks with the hashtag
#HoAnNatiora and #Connect2Earth and to share videos of
their challenges throughout the month of June.
