e 8 mars dernier la cérémonie d’inauguration a été
honorée par la présence de Son Excellence Monsieur
le Président de la République, Andry Rajoelina, de la
Première Dame, Mialy Rajoelina, ainsi que du Ministre
des Transports, du Tourisme et de la Météorologie,
Joël Randriamandranto et du Gouverneur de la région d’Anosy,
Jerry Hatrefindrazana. Grâce à ce nouvel équipement dont
les travaux d’installation ont débuté en 2019, Tolagnaro
consolide son statut d’aéroport international et affiche ses
ambitions de contribuer davantage au développement socioéconomique
et touristique de la région d’Anosy.
Le coût global du projet s’élève à 4,3 milliards d’Ariary dont
le financement a été réalisé par ADEMA et le Projet Pôle
Intégré de Croissance (PIC)/Banque Mondiale. Ce dernier a
contribué à hauteur de 2,1 milliards d’Ariary au projet.
« Outre l’installation du système de balisage, des travaux
d’aménagement de voie d’accès rapide pour les camions
pompiers et la construction de clôture de sécurité de 5300m
ont été également réalisés » selon Herison ANDRIAMIHAFY,
Directeur Général d’ADEMA.
Ce système de balisage solaire est une grande première
à Madagascar et dans le sud-ouest de l’Océan Indien. Il
permet ainsi d’économiser 5 à 12 millions Ariary par mois
en matière de coût de l’énergie. Ces installations modernes
respectent les normes requises pour le renforcement de la
sécurité aérienne. L’Aéroport Marillac de Taolagnaro est donc
le troisième aéroport international répondant aux normes
exigées, après Ivato et Nosy Be; une telle modernisation
contribue tangiblement à l’objectif d’accueillir 500.000
touristes avant 2023.
On 8th March, the inauguration ceremony was
honoured by the presence of His Excellency
the President of the Republic, Andry
Rajoelina, the First Lady, Mialy Rajoelina, as
well as the Minister of Transport, Tourism
and Meteorology, Joël Randriamandranto, and the
Governor of the Anosy region, Jerry Hatrefindrazana.
Thanks to this new facility, whose installation work
began in 2019, Tolagnaro is consolidating its status
as an international airport and is demonstrating its
ambitions to further contribute to the socio-economic
and tourist development of the Anosy region.
The total cost of the project amounts to 4.3 billion
ariary, financed by ADEMA and the Integrated Growth
Pole Project (ICP)/World Bank. The latter contributed
2.1 billion ariary to the project.
"In addition to the installation of the beaconing system,
work was also carried out on the construction of a fast
access road for fire trucks and the construction of a 5300m
security fence," according to Herison Andriamihafy,
Managing Director of ADEMA.
This solar beacon system is a great first in Madagascar
and the south-western Indian Ocean. It saves 5 to 12
million ariary per month in energy costs. These modern
installations comply with the standards required for
the reinforcement of air safety. Taolagnaro's Marillac
Airport is, therefore, the third international airport
meeting the required standards, after Ivato and Nosy
Be; such modernisation contributes tangibly to the
objective of welcoming 500,000 tourists before 2023..
