Quand y aller? / When to go?
Si vous le pouvez, privilégiez les mois de mai à août,
le beau temps favorisant la découverte de tous ces
espaces naturels. Si vous en avez la possibilité,
séjournez-y le temps d'un week-end pour vous
détendre complètement.
If possible, visit the park between May and August,
when the fine weather facilitates the appreciation of
the natural scenery of the park. If possible, stay over
a whole weekend.
Comment s’y rendre? / How to get there?
De la capitale, vous parviendrez facilement à
Ambohimanga en suivant la RN 3. Comptez 30
minutes depuis le centre-ville. Poursuivez la route à
gauche au PK 16. Le Parc Saoavinandriamanitra est
à quelques kilomètres du Palais.
From the capital, you can easily reach Ambohimanga
by following the RN3. Count 30 minutes from the
city centre. Follow the road to the left at PK 16. The
Saoavinandriamanitra Park is a few kilometres from
the Palace.
Où se loger? / Where to stay?
Le Relais du Rova est situé à Ambohimanga, non
loin du parc. Il promet un séjour inoubliable dans un
environnement très calme et apaisant, propice à la détente.
L'hôtel Vohitra Paradisa, signifiant littéralement « mont
du paradis » promet un séjour de rêve avec ses quelques
chambres. Vous bénéficierez en plus d’activités diverses
comme le vélo, le tennis, le ping-pong, le billard, la piscine
et même le quad.
The Relais du Rova, in a totally calm, peaceful and
relaxing environment, is located in Ambohimanga,
not far from the park. The hotel Vohitra Paradisa,
literally meaning ‘paradise mount’, has a small number
of rooms. You can also practise various activities such
as cycling, tennis, table-tennis, billiards, swimming in
the pool and quad-biking.

Invitez-vous aux tables du restaurant Maharitrafo pour
vous régaler de ses plats gastronomiques malgaches
et internationaux, ses grillades et ses pizzas.
Le dimanche, Vohitra Paradisa propose des spécialités
malgaches et un buffet « hanimpitoloha » : sept plats
royaux, au moins sept sortes de plats sont proposés.
Book a table at the restaurant Maharitrafo, which
serves dishes, both Malagasy and international, as
well as grilled meat, fish and pizzas.
On Sundays, Vohitra Paradisa offers Malagasy
specialities and a ‘hanimpitoloha’ seven royal dishes,
at least seven kinds of dishes are offered in a buffet.
Que voir? / What to see?
Un grand parc à thème permet d'amuser les
adultes et les enfants. Découvrez également la
colline sacrée d'Ambohimanga avec ses nombreux
vestiges archéologiques, tels que les tombes
royales extérieures (Mahazaza), la fontaine royale
d'Andranomboahangy ou la colline de Mangabe. Bien
entendu, une visite au palais Rova d'Ambohimanga
est indispensable. Promenez-vous dans les
fortifications et découvrez le rocher des sacrifices, la
maison royale d'Andrianampoinimerina et la maison
de Ranavalona III.
There is a large theme-park to amuse both adults and
children. Also discover the sacred hill of Ambohimanga
with its many archaeological remains, such as the
exterior royal tombs (Mahazaza), the royal fountain of
Andranomboahangy or the hill of Mangabe. Of course,
a visit to the Rova palace of Ambohimanga is a must.
Walk around the fortifications and discover the rock of
sacrifices, the royal house of Andrianampoinimerina
and the house of Ranavalona III.
