Mit rund 600 Kilometern Radwegen und über 700 Kilometern Mountainbike-Trails<br />
ist Luxemburg ein Paradies für Fahrradtouristen. Dazu gibt es viele attraktive Services,<br />
die das Radfahren noch angenehmer machen.<br />
FESTER BESTANDTEIL DES<br />
URLAUBSERLEBNISSES<br />
Das Fahrrad ist ein fester Bestandteil des<br />
Urlaubserlebnisses in Luxemburg. Zehn<br />
Prozent der Übernachtungs- sowie zwölf<br />
Prozent der Tages-Freizeitbesucher sind<br />
während ihres Luxemburg-Aufenthalts<br />
Rad gefahren. Bei den Übernachtungsgästen<br />
aus den Niederlanden gaben sogar<br />
18 Prozent Radfahren als Aktivität<br />
an. Und auch von den spanischen (18<br />
Prozent) und schweizerischen Gästen<br />
(zwölf Prozent) wird Radfahren überdurchschnittlich<br />
häufig betrieben. Bei<br />
den Tagesbesuchern sind es vor allem<br />
die Deutschen, die häufig und gerne radeln<br />
(20 Prozent aller deutschen Tagesgäste).<br />
Ein besonders hoher Anteil an Radfahrenden<br />
Gästen findet sich in den Regionen<br />
Gutland (20 Prozent der dortigen<br />
Übernachtungsgäste) und Müllerthal/<br />
Mosel (14 Prozent). Vor allem Camping-<br />
und Wohnmobilreisende, Urlauber<br />
auf dem Bauernhof sowie Besucher,<br />
die bei Freunden oder Bekannten wohnen,<br />
radeln zahlreicher als der Durchschnittsgast.<br />
Neben reinem Aktivurlaub wird Radfahren<br />
auch häufig im Kontext von<br />
Familienurlaub, Erlebnis-/Abenteuer-<br />
