Salah satu tugasutama komisi ini adalah memberisaran untuk peningkatandan pengembangan kapasitas litbangkes,membantu penyusunanprioritas litbangkes, sosialisasidan pelatihan berbagai pedomanpelaksanaan litkes, serta pembinaandan pelaksanaan litbangkes.In order to guarantee thequality and utilization of research,other aspects that must beconsidered is the scientific rigour.One of the main tasks of this commissionis to provide suggestionsfor improvement thecapacity developmentwithin Research andDevelopment, assist with prioritysetting, with dissemination andimplementation of guidelines forresearchtraining, and coachingthe implementation of agenda ofresearch and health development.2. Komisi Etik Penelitian Kesehatan(KE)Health Research Ethic CommitteeSalah satu aspek yang harusdiperhatikan agar menghasilkanpenelitian kesehatan (litkes) yangbermutu adalah etik. Salah satu tugasutama komisi ini adalah mengkajiaspek etik protokol penelitiankesehatan dan mengeluarkan persetujuanetik (ethical clearance).One aspect that must be consideredin order to produce qualifiedhealth research is ethics. Oneof the main tasks of this commissionis to review the ethical aspectsof health research protocolsand the issuance of ethical approval(ethical clearance).3. Komisi Nasional Etik PenelitianKesehatan (KNEPK)National Health ResearchEthic Committee (KNEPK)Semua penelitian kesehatanyang mengikutsertakan relawanmanusia sebagai subyek penelitianharus mengikuti 3 (tiga) prinsipetik umum, yaitu menghormatiharkat martabat manusia (respectfor persons); berbuat baik (benefience)dan tidak merugikan(nomale ficence); serta keadilan(justice). Komisi ini bertugas melakukanpembinaan dan pengawasanpelaksanaan etik litbangkes.All medical research involvinghuman volunteers as researchsubjects must follow the 4(four)general ethical principles, namelyrespect for human dignity (respectfor persons); do good (benefiencial)and do not harm (nomaleficence); and be just (justice).
